Has anybody downloaded the trial version of Vue 6 using Internet Explorer? I am tempted to try it, but on the site it says Firefox should be used to download as Internet Explorer is likely to corrupt the file(s) - and I am not keen to load Firefox as my machine is messy enough as it is.

Peter

I had trouble getting the PLE version with IE. Firefox is a very small download and installs with no problems. Once I used Firefox, download was OK.

Many thanks. From what I've seen of Vue it's definitely worth the effort, so I'll have a go.

It's a double win: you get Vue and you get Firefox. :-)

If you don't want to install Firefox (???), you can always get a download manager program from a site like TUCOWS (http://www.tucows.com ) or Download.com (http://www.download.com).
When I purchased Vue, I got the digital version and downloaded it just fine with IE.

Sounds an interesting alternative. Will probably hold off for a while as I am concentrating on sorting out my paintings. The problem with computer work is that it is so absorbing - nothing else ever gets done!
