Is there a Poser character that looks like Jessica Alba? I'm sure I saw one somewhere, but forgot where it was. Thanks.

Someone did a lookalike morph for her and linked it on DAZ I believe. Check ShareCG.

There is quite a few....
My favourite - Rianne for V3, also nice Jessi for V4
There was another, but I have forgotten who did it.

Afternoon Talos, the extremely talented person you are looking for is Fygomatic. Since he/she is a member, you can do a member search. Jan

Fygomatic's morphs are not for sale they appear to be for their own personal use. As for the Thorne character linked above, I have found that many of Thorne's characters bear a resemblance to Alba, I don't think it's a conscious thing though, it's in the eyes.

Thanks Anniebel and Acadia, those are the ones! Plutom, I actually forgot I'm a big Fygomatic fan and already have that morph. (Senior Moment) I go now to find a good texture to go with it, like Kate Beckinsale, or Kyra Knightly.

I have a suspicion that this one is also supposed to be her. The promo shots look less like her than the ones I've done with the product. It could be intentional, arcebus could be afraid of lawyers.JOELGLAINE posted Sun, 11 May 2008 at 2:04 PM

I'd vote for the "Jessi for V4" as the MOST Alba-esque of any I've seen!

I've got FaceShop, so I've been trying to make some celebrity morphs on my own. I've given up because every time I try, it looks as though their heads have been kicked in. I'll probably stick with Rianne until something better comes along for V4.

It can happen that you get one side better than the other.
Have you tried mirror the better side over to the worse?

Hi Laslo,
I haven't tried mirroring yet. FaceShop a very cool product, but I do get frustrated trying to create a head that isn't lumpy, with eyebrow ridges that aren't spikey...if that makes any sense. I tried doing a Rihanna head, but it didn't turn out. Maybe to keep in the spirit of this post, I'll work on an Jessica Alba head and post my results.
One thing that might make FaceShop easier is to have pre-loaded shapes (eyebrows, face outline, profile, etc...) that you drag into place and position the dots. That way, the whole head could easily be modeled based on the original V4 shapes. On that note, I don't understand the need to draw the outline on the V4 character. Since V4 and M3 are the base characters, shouldn't their lines already be set? Ultimately, I just need to sit down with the program some more and practice, practice, practice.
Thanks again for a cool product :)

Xan,
you know you can skip some steps, too /with right-click/.
For example, eyebrows are optional.
Also, try to skip the head shape if this gives you too much trouble. See what you get.
Try the basic - not use the Classic 3.5 option.
