So these stairs are of an old fisherman's house in st andrews... apparently there were a lot of houses like this around and then an old mayor or someone came around one night and knocked down all of the staircases on the outside of the houses, by my count only 3 survive in st andrews. You used to store your nets and stuff in the part below and live above it all, hence there is a garage in there now and the living area is upstairs. Incidentally i used to live (in my 2nd year at uni) in the ground floor room of the house you can see to the right of these stairs.

oh dear - do they lock you away down there if you are a bad boy? Looks like a stairway to a dungeon or something!

Taken this weekend at the Atomium in Brussels (Belgium). I do have some nice shots of the exterior but apparently it's prohibited to publish those 👎

I really like the previous post (3dguy), nice one =)

It was a tossup between 3 shots for me, for a laugh I nearly went with the same spot as Rich's post but from a different angle then remembered that variety, as they say, is the spice of life - so I decided to go with this one from Dundee instead ;)

haha - should have done it adam... would have been amusing :) I'm sure there is a nice creative way to take a shot of dem dere stairs.

Nice pov on these stairs in dundee works well with the composition - shame i wouldnt have a clue where they are tho, only having ventured there three times during my time in st andrews, only two of which were during the daytime ;)
