I have tried a search. Can someone please point me in the right direction? Is it actually possible to export V4 from Poser to Bryce 6.1?

It should still work as a wavefront object export  (.obj) from poser as a static mesh.

Pass no temptation lightly by, for one never knows when it may pass again!

If I'm not mistaken, doesn't DAZ Studio open Poser files into it's program fromt any content sources that it recognizes in its content searches?
If so, if you use the DAZ/Bryce link in Bryce , load the file in DAZ Studio and pose it as you like then link back to Bryce, it should load automatically in Bryce.

While using the D|S bridge has it's problems you can just do a "Save As..." from Poser, then load Bryce, hit the D|S Icon from the Bryce Create palette and then in D|S use the Import command to open the saved Poser .PZ3. Quit D|S and the figure along with the textures should load right in.

That's what works for me Tom. There's several things D|S doesn't import, like magnets and dynamic cloth/hair.
Edit: I haven't tired this with D|S 2 or Poser 7.

I work with V4 in bryce all the time, no problems.

Only slight problem is if you want to tweak the pose, because then you have to go back to poser an redo the pose, then re-export the obj. I don't use D/S

Dont forget that once you have the object in Bryce, click on Objects/Break D/S link in Bryces top menu.  If you dont, if you return to D/S youll lose the first object.
That, of coourse, is if you can get the link to work at all.  I can`t.
