I have a VUE scene (Vue 6 pro studio) that includes an imported Poser figure. It is imported as frame 19 of an animation due to use of dynamic cloth. At first everything looking appropriate and I can make good renders. But when I save the scene, close down Vue, restart Vue, open the same scene - the textures are all scrambled (skin on clothes, clothes on hair, etc) - so that I have to reload the poser figure every time. Is there any way to prevent this from happening?
Thanks, Jim Gallagher

That is really strange, I never saw that. It would seem your file is corrupt or maybe your Poser runtime is not organized as Vue is expecting it to be. Do you have multiple runtimes?
Have you tried saving the Vue file including textures? Does it behave the same?

Are you on a mac?

This new twist just happened: I altered the scene by changing position of the sun and after that the textures were mixed up again! It is very strange. I have just one runtime folder. Running on a PC win XP. It is easy to reload the figure. Maybe it is only this particular scene that is messed up.

I don't know what happens, but next time, try saving the imported figure as a vob ( vue object format), so it won't happen again. And you should send a tech support ticket to e-on with your scene file so they can have a look at it.

r u sure the textures are messed up. I have had it look that way on the preview on my mac, but when I rendered the scene was still fine.
Love esther
I aim to update it about once a month. Oh, and it's free!
