So what do you use the apple for? Focus testing?

Always carry a spare hat, lost one to the wind once and had sun stroke by the time I got home.
The two small cuddlie toys were added by my wife so I would not be lonely on long shoots.

Ah, Fred255, this apple is so I don't faint from lack of nourishment while in the park... LOL!

@ mbz2662. what's the massive Kodak book for (toilet paper??) @ mark.spooner. is that the AW300 or AW200. i got the latter. I can't show what i got in my bag because it's the only thing i shoot with. EOS 30D 24-105L - 430EX (flash) FongSphere 16AA batteries with charger. A prayer book (just in case) and sometimes other stuffs. i keep my cards at my waist just in case (two 2GB & a 4GB). There is not enough room for my brain so sometimes i forget it at home

@Radlafx... I still need to look stuff up... what can I say?
My stuff is basic stuff... mini tripods, battery charger, extra batteries, extra SD cards, lens cleaning stuff, a snack, my camera book (cuz I 'm still learning), and a lens hood. :0)
I aspire to a bag like mark.spooner!
mark.spooner posted Wed, 28 May 2008 at 4:49 AM
OK Radlafx here goes,
The bag itself is a LowePro Slingshot 200AW although I could probably do with the 300AW really.
EOS 350D and powergrip, Canon f1.8 50mm, Sigma EX f1.4 30mm, Sigma EX f4-5.6 10-20mm, Sigma DC f3.5-6.3 18-200mm, Tokina f2.8 100mm macro, set of three extension tubes.
Spare batteries and cards, Jobo GigaONE (40 GB version) and a 12inch Lastolite reflector, Canon cable release and infra red remote release.
Cleaning kit made up of Speckgragger, lens cloth, blower and lens cleaning pen.
The small black Tamrac pouch on the upper left side contains my seven most used Cokin filters (neutral grads and polarisers). There is also a bean bag that screws to the base of my camera and a spirit level that slots into the cameras hotshoe mount.
Finally there are my spotting binoculars and spare hat and filter wrench, cuddlie frog and small cuddlie bird (added by my wife Sarah in case I get lonely).
Thats my standard kit. The weight isn't to bad (helps keep me fit) and the bag itself is comfortable and well worth the look.
After twelve years behind the lens I've finally got a kit I'm happy with.

There has been once or twice I have rummaged through my car looking for a plastic baggie for my camera on those misty, sprinkly, occasions. LOL.
I thought I had an orignal idea..... LOL. Oh well.

You guys will probably laugh at me. But my 400D camara I keep in my camara bag, still wrapped in its original bubble wrap. LOL Somehow I always think that if I come in a car accident, the bubble wrap will help with the impact.
I don't have any funny things except for the Camara and the lens in there. There is a small pocket size digital camara book in the bag which I don't use at all.
And living in a place like I do, the bag is not branded. It looks like a normal bag, because thieves always knows which one is the camara bag around here.

Kort,
its the Oly camera....2.1 megapixels and its noisy as hell these day....MAJOR HOT PIXELS TOO....UGH!)
That case to the left is the only thing that IS actually dusty though! I had just found it in a box of odds & ends in the basement....old filter case that I'd thought i'd add to the gear! (YES I WILL CLEAN IT...LOL!)
