I was browsing my e-mail's inbox and there was the latest DAZ ad. I looked through it and there wasn't anything I really wanted, and through a complex, inebriated thought process, I had an epiphany-question thing:
Why do I do 3D?
I do it because I have stories that I'd like to tell and it's much easier to, as an example, create an exploding helicopter inside of a computer than to rent a real helicopter and apply real explosives to it. Plus as if life isn't stressful enough, I choose a hobby that requires a Calculus For Dummies book so that I can appreciate the nuances of differentiation and integration for shader programming.
So as a kind of way to get to know the community, what's y'all's reason for working in 3D? Thanks in advance for your responses.
