I'm just breaking into selling artwork locally and I'm trying to figure out any tips on pricing to clients. I was thinking of pricing based on detail of work per project. I plan on doing music album covers, images for peoples websites, and digital photos just to start off.
Anyone with pricing tips or what appropriate rates would be? Thanks!

I worked on a flat price per hour for my time , and a price per hour for machine time . That seemed a reasonable balance when my system was rendering unattended for many hours a night.
I know a few artists that charge a flat rate by size of image , but that seems to be experiance in how long it will take them to do .
