His humour while crass was always timely and forced us to look at things from a new perspective. Someone who made people think and will surely be missed. Rest In Peace George.

This forum is for Poser; if you want to discuss stuff that deals with anything else, please post elsewhere so those of us who come here to discuss and read about Poser can do that.  Thank you.

Muralist, the Poser mods 'do' allow a few OT posts here as long as they are not personal attacks.

That being said....I will miss George Carlin, it was a total shock when I read about it this morning...he was my all time fave comedian...and Hippy Dippy Weather Man "Al Sleet" was one of my fave roles he did.

And one of the masters has moved on..... Be interesting in a couple of years when the Carlin retrospectives really come out, and all the kidlets who grew up on Clay get some exposure to a thinking being's comedian. Haven't been any others who could create a multi-minute monologue of many of the variants of the seven words you can't say on TV. Or bring the house down with that eyebrow raise.... At least he was here in the timeframe that allowed good copies of his works to be recorded for posterity. So much of Lenny Bruce was never shared....

It's a shame. I have most of his albums alongside Cheech and Chong albums and National Lampoon's "A Childs Garden of Grass." That kind of dates me.

Oh well, Hot Cross Bun anyone?

The world has truly lost one of the greats.  I'm going to miss him.
Who could ever forget when he explained the differences between baseball and football?
