I say 'Silly' because I feel that I should know the answer to this but after hitting my head on the table a few times I can't figure it out. There are some texture resources out there that are Zipped to unzip into the Poser Runtime folder for use, instead of being something you unzip into a Photoshop file, etc. Instructions state load the textures via the Materials room. So you've got it all done. Now, here I think is where I get to the silly part...now do I save my altered/completed texture so I can apply it onto another V4? There is no comment on the readmes that tell you how to do that, only just loading it from the Materials room. They are Merchant Resources, so I can create with and alter and then sell but what do I do to make it a file that I can sell or use on future models so I don't have to go in and reload each and every body item? Normally I would use the program MAT Pose Edit but these Resources are making it seem that I all have to do is work in the Materials Room, fiddle with node settings and figure completed after assigning all the textures and that's it.
What I've done in the past is open files in Photoshop make changes/adds etc, and then use MAT Pose Edit to create the MAT and save it in my Poser directory then open Poser and load my figure and apply the MAT and bingo. So I thought with some of these Merchant Resources unzipping into the Runtime folder that it's eliminating the need of the outside program, MAT Pose Edit...So I thought I'd post here and see what the Poser experts had on the issue :)
Thanks :)
