Today a new product hits the Rosity store. Its a new clothing package by Jasmina and is called Dream Fashion 8 for V4 and as far as I am concerned, being a fan of a more muscular V4,  this product is epoch making and special because as I believe, and I think I am correct in saying that its the first time that any artist here has included not only  the V4 Female Body builder morphs from the DAZ morphs++ package but also 'Definition', and from the DAZ V4 Muscle package she has added Olympian, Massive, Beefy, Toned etc. and a whole set of extra muscle morphs which means that your chances of getting this amazing clothing set  to fit V4 is in the high probability range and that also goes for people who like a slim thin V4 but with more muscle definition too.

Now I am saying  this because any merchant who tells me from now on that by adding all of these morphs overloads the file size etc and makes the job much harder and is difficult to do can be immediately shown the door to Jasmina's store.
At last an artist is really  listening and delivering the goods for everyone - you have to give praise where its deserved and I am doing it here for Jasmina shes made the not possible become the really possible.

In my view Jasmina is already one of the best merchants here, her clothing items are real top work!!

First of all I am really happy to hear your opinions about me. Because I am doing this work as hobby to leave away from my stress.
Adding muscle morphs are a little bit different than the other morphs. Automated morphs has to be handled with the some other body morphs. That makes everything a little bit harder. But not impossible.
I have spend more time on muscle morphs than the others. But result made me so happy. I will continue to provide this morphs with my further products.
It is true that the size is increased when we add this morphs but we have more options for the customers.
May be it is not advertised in the promo pages but I put a lot of more options in the packages to make my customers happier.(And normally they buy my next product automatically) :)

What I have followed an will follow in the future:

  1. As much as morph included in the figures..
  2. A lot of high definition texture maps.
  3. More automatic functions to make cloth fits best to V4 character.

Doing this is allways increasing time of development...But makes higher quality.

As I told you I am not a professional designer but professional programmer :)...

And for all of us as a merchant here at renderosity..We will try to provide you the best products..Look at the works of Aerysoul, Hongyu and much more....

Your wish is my command...

Kindly Regards

Jasmina

Jasmina, I totally agree. I'm working on my first Renderosity MP product, and it WILL have all V4 Morphs++ morphs, ERC based and all, but including the option to dial them as FBM on the clothes too. True, it's more work, but it makes for better quality items.

It's also true that it makes for larger downloads, but since I won't supply texture maps (everything will be procedural shaders), that's not a real problem.

From PXP

Thank you Jasmina - Well there you are folks straight from the artist what more can you ask!

Regarding Hongyu who is unquestionably one of my favorite artists also. Expect to see more morphs in his packages too.

I have been urging merchants to include more morphs in their packages for some while now and have taken a public stand here to that end and its starting to happen.

Look, think about it! If a clothing product includes all the major morphs that the DAZ muscle packages also contain, such as definition, tone Olympian etc.  then whatever you do to the base figure with those morphs you will get the same result with the clothing too. This has got to be a lot better than using magnets or any other devices that attempt to put what's not there - there, or worse still completely ruin and distort the original.

I am not for one minute suggesting that you should never use third party software to fit clothing to figure creations in many instances these packages do the job fine but they are not perfect and when you push things harder with the V4 morphs and then expect the perfect fit you run into problems. Including the morphs into clothing packages has to be the solution and you are helping everyone and making people who use your product very happy and as Jasmina said you will probably buy the next thing they make.

Dear svdl...

I would like to see your product so much..That kind of products allways giving me a new ideas :)..
And according to my experiences sometimes providing texture maps in PNG is reducing size. (Be carefull about the Grey scale textures are not fully suported in Poser 6).......
I would like to test my texture sets on your product as well....
Feel free to use my texture set in your bundle.

Kindly Regards

Right now, there's a V4 warrior outfit in my freestuff that contains a lot of V4 morpsh, I've only omitted the "Emaciated" morph. The materials consist of fairly simple procedural shaders.
I've got a commercial product at DAZ - my first - that is a major step up from that freebie outfit: it contains all V4 Morphs++ FBMs, ERC enabled so that they automatically adjust to the V4 character that it is conformed to. The materials are simple, mostly procedural.

I'm a total disaster when it comes to 2D work, so I prefer procedural materials.

Here's a preview of what I'm working on, a leather armor set for V4. I'tll have loads and loads of options (different abdomen styles, different shoulder harness styles, different cup styles, different skirt styles) and will come with bracers, shinguards, a long overskirt, sword and scabbard. I'm planning to deliver it in four separate packs

Victoria 4.2 Leather Armor

Everything is UV mapped, and the packages will come with templates. I'm using different material zones: body, stitching, edge, strap, buckle and studs, which makes texturing as easy as it can be.

Everything is still in very preliminary stages, I still have quite a lot of modeling to do, and only a few of the items have been rigged yet.

If you have one of my product..Would you please use the Leather materials on it and send the render..I really wanted to see it.

This is still the standard leather shader that comes with Poser 5/6/7/Pro. I haven't tweaked any of the materials yet.

Wow...That is nice :)

The product looks nice from what I could see, but I gave up on waiting for the page to load, the size & length of it is ridiculous. I have broadband & it took over 2 minutes, I shudder to think how long poor people on dial up would have to wait. Ever thought of making use of thumbnails & linking to the bigger pictures, sorry but as a customer pages like this drive me away.

You're correct. It takes longer time to load. Forthe next product I will consider to use jpg. PNG files are ok but huge as size....
May be more thumbnails as well....

Thanks for reminding me.
