Sorry if this has been asked a 100 times before, but I am using bvh files and am having a strong urge to parent the camera and/or a light to the figure or body part of that figure.

Can someone provide me some linkys or info please?
Thanks! 😄

Change the light type to a spot light. This will then enable the "Set Parent" button. Reset the light type afterwards.

For the cameras use the Hierarchy window. Select the option to show the cameras then select the camera and drag and drop it onto the required actor. I've not tested it with all the cameras but works fine this way on the Dolly Camera.

Hope that helps.

You might try this:

Open the Hierarchy Editor (HE) - (and enable "Cameras" / "Lights" as necessary)
[menu] >>> "Window" >>> **"Hierarchy Editor"

*Select the object, camera, or light you want to parent.

Click (on it) and Drag the object* to the new "parent"**
