Have you tried any of Mehdi color filters
Absolute Color is based on a hue wheel subdivised into 6 sectors of 60 degrees. Choose a sector to restrict the tints of the image to this one.

Alien Skin
Nik
On-One
All of the above are the brands - they each have various filters for doing (obviously) various things. Hope this helps-

Call me a skeptic or perhaps I’m missing something, but it seems to me that you can create those same effects using the Photo filter in CS3.

No, I was looking for a much more advance filter and I found one. I do belive I can ge the same resault with PS only but it would be much more work and when you need two images with exactly the same color...it would take way to much time.

LOL…okay, the artist would, of course, know better of what they need and forgive me if I sounded presumptuous. It is just that I was recently reading an article on the Photo Filter and its uses and it occurred to me how easy it would be to forget that it’s there. Although called the Photo Filter it is not located in the Filter menu and can be easily overlooked.
Reading your post made me wonder if the Photo filter wasn’t what you might be looking for. The Hue/Saturation control option was my first thought until you mentioned the Nik plugin. I assumed it was their color efex plugin that caught your eye. If that’s the case you might want to check out the free VirtualPhotographer plugin if you haven’t already. They have free additional settings as well. Good luck!
