Hi,
I have been trying to find a write up or tutorial on the Photoshop RAW converter.
I shoot on a Nikon D200 and have been using the basics of the raw converter but there are are a few parts I dont understand.
In the Raw converter the is a Colour Sampler tool.I have toyed with it and it looks interesting but I dont know exactly how to use it or what it does.
Can some one either point me in the direction of some info or tell me what it does and how to use it.
Thanks

I have the Nikon D100 and as of yet haven’t used the raw plugin but I’ve used the sampler tool with other image formats to fine tune color selection. A quick search through Photoshop’s Help viewer (F1) using “sampler tool” as keyword will give you some idea on how to use the tool. See using histogram and RGB levels in camera raw.
Here are some online examples:
Quick sampler tutorial (not camera raw)
Long winded video explanation of the RAW plugin in Photoshop (timed @ 10:00)
Hope these help.

I want to give you the title of a very good book on phsp camera raw:
Photoshop Cs2 Raw, by Mikkel Aaland, O'Reilly publications.
www.oreilly.com
This is the best source I've found for learning about the use of camera raw program.
Have a nice work, bye!
