Yes, it works with Vue6, but Poser7 Pro doesn't.

Why is it that Poser pro doesen work ? Is there something different about the engine ? What is different about Poser Pro anyway ?

PoserPro is Poser7 withexchange plugins for Max, Maya and C4D to integrate native Poser scens in these apps. It also now support 64bit systems, is fully multithreaded ( I think), and can batch render. It has some new figures and props to tempt you into buying it, an it's completely worthless for Vuers.

Agree with Bruno, I didn't buy Pro simply because it offers nothing to me that I don't already have with Poser 6 and 7 and Vue6Infinite!!
It's only when rendering that Pro uses 64 bit, the rest of the app doesn't!! It's a bit odd if you ask me!!

So much for 64bit support, then!

Personally I think it sounds like a bit of a rush job, "lets get this to market quickly" type thing so they didn't have the time to make it fully 64 bit compatible, I expect Poser 8 to be around the corner with full 64 bit support!!

But they've been working on this for at least a year, now I know Poser changed hands in the meantime, but the team behind PP remained the same. And they dropped the Quidam connection, which must've sped up the process of writing the app.
As for me, I'n not buying any new Poser if they don't implement some kind of muscle rig to avoid those awful joints. Spent way too much money on it already (apps, figures and props), and hardly use it these days.

FYI... Poser 6 for $75 if you want to upgrade. Actually a new boxed version.

Or, $129 on the Microsmith site to V7.
Thanks for the PoserPro explanation - I was tempted by the $200 upgrade offer.

I didn't bite on the poser pro bait either. I spent my money on my upgrade to Vue6 Inf!

In the last issue of 3DWorld (featuring bazze!) Poser Pro-on-test was rated 6 & 7... ( :-( LOL)
(saving for Vue 7 Inf. ... ;-))
