I didn't have any major problems with Poser 7, but now, the last couple months have been bizarre. Models are warping and it's having issues rendering scenes that shouldn't be that complicated. Last night I was trying to make a pic with 3 women walking (2 V4.2, 1 A3) in clothes, no background or anything yet, and in a test render it couldn't render anything unless I hid one of the  figures?  Do I have a bad copy of  Poser7, or is this another joy from the latest ATI drivers I'm using?

First off is it just the scene or every scene you create in Poser? Does it clear up when you reboot your computer and I don't mean a restart but a full reboot? Does doing a defrag of your drive improve the problem?
Could your PZ3 file of the scene have become corrupted along the way? I know this has happened to me  and I traced it back to the PZ3 file just going bad. This happens ever so often with Poser. Also if I am having a problem like this I found a combination of  characters, props, articles of clothing, hair  sometimes just don't want to play nice in poser and will just not render.

Just some ideas.

Er, what's the difference?

restart -- simply restarting

reboot -- shut the computer down completely, wait fifteen seconds, then start up again

docandraider.com -- the collected cartoons of Doc and Raider

So what's the difference?  :)

A restart does not always clear everything in your cache.
