HI
I am still learning about the commercial relationships of content production companies in the 3d world.
Let me get this straight, Victoria 4 is a product of DAZ Studios, but she is fullly workable in Poser7?
If this is true, and I go get V4, ( I assume only from DAZ), would I end up having V4 all ready to rock and roll when I add her to my Poser7/Runtime/Library/Figures .....?
Thanks

V4 is a figure from DAZ. This company also has an application called DAZ Studio (for free). V4 works in both programs, Poser and DAZ Studio. V4 is a basic figure, there are additional products required to use all the features, especially the morphs++ package.

There is a limitation on where the morphs folder goes in Poser 7. DAZ Studio does not have this limitation. Take care of that and the figure works all right in Poser 7, as far as I can tell.

Hi infinity I think I see whatcha mean..... all the morphs for Vickie get placed in the poses library in Poser. Pain the arse!...can you cheat that? where would I move the morph files to?
Thanks

why move them? There is nothing wrong with where they are and they load from there. If you move them it could affect every other character you use in the future that utilizes those morphs.

a simply workaround to the limitation noted by infinity10 is when you are installing V4 to use the option of installing it in DAZStudio, it will ask you the location where you want to install. Point to the Poser 7 location, install and have fun.
The installer doesn't change the types of files, only the location.
