Hi..
My small studio need some advice about software investment to produce some multimedia content like , flash game , E-card , wallpaper & music
Most of us had no experience in 3d area but we clearly see that 3d would speedy our works . Off course if we can tackle learning curve and budget investment .
Sorry if we ask this to the poser forum but we think we can get another perspective than software `s owner forum .
Actually weve already ask this question to several people and forum , but the answer always point us to big budget 3d software . We sure the answers from experience peoples we
ve ask are correct but buying those software + licence ( we`ll plant to build 5-8 machines ) is out of range for this time . Besides we should to do several intensive course to use those software
One of us had and using 3ds max 5 + poser PP ( old school but rock ) but those softs single licence only so we can`t install in other machines . He advise us to learn about free DAZ Studio + starter contents which we think quite enough for our learning process and final purpose . Thanks DAZ
Here questions regarding to our studio
1 . Object Licence .
EULA stated that we only had right use them for rendering , visual purpose , animation as long object cannot be extracted . but we had no clue about use object in several machines ( in our studio ) . Sorry english not our main languange and sometimes we had very hard to translating especially with long words like EULA .
Vue
We see a lot people render with Vue and weve also tried too , but we need advice about simplify our streamline productions since for this moment we
ll be using DAZ Studio than Poser . We know poser offer more tools but like we said before , most of us had no experience in 3d and think DAZ Studio is quite enough for this time
About Carrara Express & Pro
Just download Carrara 6 Demo and glad this software seems cut rendertime beside its offer like vue did . So we can stick with this option . We see buy 2-3 Carrara express copies would fit our budget , but we like to know about difference with Pro package
Thanks for read and help

Maybe this overview is something for you, because it costs you nothing and all software packages may be installed on as many computers as you like:

Carrara 3D express is an excellent program for the price. Learning it is really pretty easy. I personally would really recommend that program to anyone on a budget. Rendering is MUCH MUCH more time efficient than in poser - I can't speak for Daz Studio but I personally wasn't a big fan of that program.
