I see that when adding hair, some pieces let you change the Z axis to actually move the whole piece up and down and around......shake it all about and do the hokie pokie.
Some hair pieces only let you alter the hair,(stretch, twist, stuff like that), but it does not have the axis's to let you actually move it around.
Is this because it is a different type of hair? or what.
thanks

The X,Y,Z axis are always present in any prop or figure. If you don't
see them on the parameter dials, it's because they are hidden.
It's especially annoying with hair!
You can edit the HR2 file itself, to change 'hidden 1' to 'hidden 0' on the
xtran, ytran and ztran. Or you can use my simple Unhide Parameters script:
http://ockhamsbungalow.com/Python/UnHideParms.zip
One click shows all the relevant parameters so you can adjust the body part
or the hair or whatever.

Normally in a figure the BODY has the translation dials (and the hip) and all other body parts have them disabled . It is to ensure the integrity of the figure , you dont really want to pull the head off the neck for example .
The BODY or HIP will move the entire figure.
Its easy to hide all the translate dials but slightly more work to keep visible only the body dials .

The same reason that all of V4's morphs are hidden. It's a plot to drive us all insane! LOL
