Hello, I'm new to the forum & new to Poser. I have a couple of questions. (Actually I have a lot but I won't ... )
Does anyone have a link to a public list of Poser plug-ins?
Also, is there an external renderer plug-in for Poser 6 and the 3Delight stand-alone software?
I've seen references to Poser/Renderman plug-ins, but have only found professional-cost items, mostly for Autodesk & Arm&Leg software applications. (I looked at the Houdini site too, and I think I know why he was trying to escape ... )
Is there a less expensive way to move up?
TY

Poser doesn't support "plug in" render engines as such but you can always use an external program to do the rendering for you. Some (in no particular order) are
Cinema 4D with the interposer plugin - gives you access to all the C4d render engines like advanced render and VRay etc
Vue (reads pz3 files directly)

Don't forget the Poser exports RIB (Renderman Interface Bytestream) files natively to Renderman compliant renderers - PRman, Aqsis, 3Delight, Pixie, Air, et al. You will need a material editor to create / attach materials, though if you're comfortable with cr2 hacking you could code your own shaders and (manually) assign them in the RIB.

I once started working on this one, but haven't touched it in quite a while. If you speak Python you should be able to tweak it to get it up and running with Poser 6 and 3Delight.
