HI;
I want to do animations, of wild rolling kicking multi dimensional fight scenes between
colliding characters.
eg vampires in wild locked up bite fights would be my fav, can do with just Poser 7, but so slow
Can anyone tell me about Poser Pro and the best one of these to get with it?
Maxon CINEMA 4D R9.6-10.5 (32-bit), Autodesk 3ds Max 9-2008 (32-bit), Autodesk Maya 8.5-2008 (32-bit)
Does PP really speed up your renders and animation time ?
Morph targets? does it really allow you to add morphs here and there and everywhere?
and does it support M3 and V4 to do all it's finctions?

The many PoserPro threads here already answer all those questions.
All high end 3d applications also have various benefits. you really need to personall compare their features on a personal level.
Also, SM is releasing the ligghtwave plugin free for poser pro soon, so you should add lightwave to your list, since it's been one of the staples for tv and film effect animation now for almost 20 years, (Plus it's a LOT cheaper then Maya or Max.)
Way too many people take way too many things way too seriously.

Attached Link: Link to Interposer Pro
Frankly if you are considering Cinema 4D than I would advise looking at Interposer Pro rather than Poser Pro.Interposer Pro converts the Poser rig to one you can animate directly in C4D. that means that you can do all of your figure animation directly in C4D, which has more powerful animation tools rather than relying on Poser for that.
the poser pro conversion requires you to use the Poser animation tools to do the animation and only than can you transfer the figure pre animated to C4D to render. any time you want to make adjustments to the poses in your animation you have to go back to poser pro to do it.
Im not saying that Poser Pro isn't worth looking at, just that there are better solutions if you are looking at C4D in particular.
