Ok, so I designed a new character in V3 to look like a middle eastern girl. But when I use a face expression program such as Real Emotions for V3 it blows away my face morphs, i.e. it zeros all my paramter dials and leaves me with regular V3, with expression.
Is there a way to retain my morphs so that they are not overwritten by the expressions program? it's a real pain to have to redial almost 50 dials! Alternatlely is there something like a python script that would let me get these 50 some dials into a single dial that I could just spin after I set the emotions?
Detailed instructions would be much appreciated. I'm a good learner but need specifics.
Much thanks to all you guys. Maybe I might be lucky and still snare an Acadia comment :-)

There are some python scripts floating around that would spawn morph targets....or you can just have her head selected, and under the figure menu you should see an option to Spawn Morph Target.
That would combine all your dials into one morph for the head, which should then work with your expressions without getting lost in the process.

Realmling has it right. Step-by-step:
Set up your character with only her character morphs applied (neutral expression)
Select the head, and go to the Object menu
Choose *Spawn Morph Target
*Enter a name when asked, eg the name of your character
Zero all morphs (don't panic!) by doing Edit > Restore > Figure
Select the head again if necessary, and set the character dial to 1.000
Save into the Figures library for future use.
I can't guarantee it, but I think that the new character dial setting won't be affected by your expression program - if it is, no worries, you now have only one dial to reset.

Thanks EnglishBob...at work so I couldn't double check which menu it's under and I don't have Poser implanted in my brain yet...lol.
The newly spawned morph should not be affected by expressions as it's not in the normal inj channel setup. Least I haven't had any of mine affected this way with other Daz figures where I've done up a custom head and spawned it off.
Sounds possibly like extra dials were retained in the expression file that don't need to be there...they could be edited out for future use...but for right now, a spawned morph would probably be easier (and quicker).
