If you receive(d) an email containing any of the attachments (listed below) please delete it without trying to open the attachments. Download the latest version of whatever virus-protection software you're using, which should have been updated to detect and remove the Badtrans worm. Remove this virus before you shutdown or restart your computer or, as I understand it, once you're infected the bogus emails are sent 5 minutes after you start-up your computer. Badtrans randomly chooses from one of the following file names for its attachments: Pics.ZIP.scr images.pif README.TXT.pif New_Napster_Site.DOC.scr news_doc.scr hamster.ZIP.scr YOU_are_FAT!.TXT.pif searchURL.scr SETUP.pif Card.pif Me_nude.AVI.pif Sorry_about_yesterday.DOC.pif s3msong.MP3.pif docs.scr Humor.TXT.pif fun.pif
