Hi, I'm very sorry if this has been answered elsewhere, but I haven't been able to find the answer after searching the forums.

Does anyone know the quick and easy way to use the DAZ Runtimes with Poser 6?

Feel free to slap me if it's easy and a stupid question, but I would really like a quick answer.  I spent the last hour and a half searching threads for a quick answer and had no luck.

Sincerely,

Ken

Found this on the Content Paradise forum in a Google search, posted by Kerya:

Quote - Poser, like Daz Studio, is able to handle more than one runtime. To tell Poser to use an external networked Runtime you can navigate up to the top of the file hierarchy in the Library palette, where you should see two folders- Poser X and Downloads (where X is the version of Poser that you're using; this applies specifically to Posers 5 and 6- Poser 4/Artist can't use external or networked Runtime folders.) To add a Runtime to that list, click the button with the plus symbol (+) at the bottom of the palette; Poser will give you a standard file-location dialog box, in which you click Network Places (for Windows users; Mac users will need to mount the shared volume or folder), navigate to the shared volume, select the Runtime within it and click Choose to add that Runtime to the list. Double-click the newly-added Runtime in the Library palette to navigate into its folder hierarchy, then exit Poser normally; the next time you launch Poser the Library palette will display the contents of that Runtime by default.

And, it works.
