Need a bit of help. I'm trying to do a scene in poser where the car is head are on to the camera. I want to have the car headlights on and the beam of light visable. If you just put two spots in for the headlights you don't seem to get anything showing up. Do I need to use two extra lights (point) for the glow of the headlights or do I need to use atmosphere?
Any help gratefully received.

Hmm, I don't know off the top of my head.
If it's possible in Poser, then I'm sure that some of the posts by bagginsbill covered how to do this.

you can use spotlights and atmosphere. That relies on a background object in the scene for the effect to show.
an easier method is to use a cone primitive suitably scaled and textured .
try http://www.renderosity.com/mod/tutorial/index.php?tutorial_id=956 on the volumetric light setup .

Quick and dirty. On Revenge of the She Creature, I set the headlight prop ambient color to white and parented a spotlight to each one.
