Hello, I have a problem with a texture set I created for Daz Studio. When applied it shows as all white but it renders correctly. I can't find anything wrong but I'm not sure why it does this.
Any help is appreciated :-)

Is it only your texture set that does that? What format are the images in? What size are the files?

It is only one of the textures I made for the A)5 Euphoria Dress, they're in dsb format. I believe the texture itself is 3000x3000. Like I said, it renders correctly but shows white in the preview which is really strange.

.dsb is a script for loading the texture, not the texture itself.

I'm sorry, they are in jpeg format.

Does the texture work (as in produce a visible effect - it will look weird) if you apply it to another model, suc as one of the primitives?

I'll try that and post a pic

What size and file type is the transparency map, and does applying both to a primitive preview correctly?
sapphy posted Sat, 16 August 2008 at 10:07 AM
The transparency map is 3000x3000 and the regular texture works correctly on the primitive but the transparency doesn't, it does the same thing. I have redone the transparency map, maybe I'll do it again.

It does sound as if it's an oddity in the image file, since the render and the preview are separate bits of code one could fail when the other didn't. If you are willing it would be a good diea to make a bug report and attach the problem map to it.
