Wonder if anyone can help - I have a series of rendered images that I would like to turn into an animation but I haven't got a clue what software to use. Any recommendations ? Cheap would be good, free would be better.

Hi grahamjames,

I mysef haven't done an animation in years. But when I used too, I'd either render the images in Poser or lightwave as an animation, to start with. Or  use animation shop, which wasn't free. Sorry this doesn't help much I know.

However if you post a similiar request down in the freestuff section, you might find someone that knows of one.

Yours,

Daidalos

Daidalos, it helps more than you would imagine, I have animation shop (came bundled with Paint Shop pro) and idiot that I am, I had never used it and didn't realise what it did. Many thanks for your speedy response - off to play now.

is your folder of images a standard "image sequence"?  In other words, and the files intended to be frames, and are numbered sequentially, like MyMovie-000, MyMovie-001 etc?

If so, many programs can import that image sequence and turn it into a flowing animation. I have some expensive ones, but QuickTimePro ($29) can do it.

Thanks all for your help, I will check out the options you have given. Yes Operaguy I have a sequence of still images which I have postworked and now wish to make into an animation. It's nothing serious just trying to amuse my young grandaugther.
