I know there are a few fellow musicians who hang in this forum, as well as a lot of music lovers, and it's my sad duty to report to you all the passing of Richard (Rick) Wright, keyboard player with Pink Floyd. Rick passed away today at the age of 65 after battling cancer.
He'll be sadly missed in this house, and a part of my youth went with him.

Very sad news indeed - from an inveterate PF 'head' (ehem).
Oh by the way, which one's Pink?

Showing our age.

He wrote Shine on you crazy diamond about band mate Barrett,
Not that the lyrics fit Mr. Wright but the title sure does. Shine On You Crazy Diamond.
He was a jewel of a song writer
