When I import Celtic1G.3DS into Poser 7, the ivy is displaced (spatial translation error) from the cross.

*     Celtic2.3DS* imports with the stone base displaced (spatial translation error) from the cross.

*     Celtic2G.3DS* fails entirely to import;  the object name appears in the scene menu, and the joint editor puts a crosshair at 0,0,0 but there is no visible object.

I've only been in 3D for three years, so my modeling skills are still minimal.  I think I could separate and fix the displaced ivy, but I doubt if I could fix the merged stone base.  Hexagon and Silo also show spatial translation errors.  I just got LightWave 9.3, but I haven't learned to use it yet.  When I get to the engine house this morning, I'll try to import these files into LightWave.
The easiest solution would be if Merlin supplied an .obj as well as the .3ds and .vob formats.  Failing this, could I at least get corrected .3ds  files which don't have this quirk?

I'm using Poser 7 in Windows XP SP3.

Poser 12, in feet.
