Hey guys,

I'm tryiing to find the best place to post or sell "custom" mocap on renderosity.
I looked at the store and it doesn't look like they have anything on their list of requirements I can put it on.

What I want to do is offer services for mocap to the Poser community and not canned motions but actual custom motions.

Basically
I wanted to sell services in the marketplace
It's $10 per custom motion.

If you want to get a whole dadys worth of motions then it's $200 dollars a day.  You could probably get about 50-150 motions for the day

For $350 we do the "hire a ninja" special.  That is for like really special moves like flips and acrobats, certain style of dancing, etc.

Is this something you would be interested in?  Basically you'd send the descriptions or videos of what moves you want and we send you some nice BVH files back.

I want to know if you can tell me where to sell these services to the Poser community.

At this time "service' products are not allowed. You will have to host your own site to do it and arraign your own way for payment transfers. (snail mail)

Now if you go hire some stripers and make a bunch of dancing motions now those would sell very well.

Sounds like a cool idea but I agree with geoegress.  Get a site, get a Paypal or some credit card accepting account, and then make it known.

Strippers with a ninja would be great! :)

C makes it easy to shoot yourself in the foot. C++ makes it harder, but when you do, you blow your whole leg off.

strippers would fall under the hire a ninja clause

flog, please post a foto of yerself amidst yer mocap equipment, if possible.
one way to do it might be to produce and sell mocaps for their store, then add a note
saying ya do custom mocaps.

Hey Flog,

long time! Miss Nancy has a good idea. In fact, others that offer MoCap have done similar things with a small package of motions for a great price.

Hey ya'll Here is a raw data video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F-QxbJdpSnw

There has been no editing.  In fact at the very begining I was barely walking on the stage so my arm is funny.

Hey Ksanderson,  I really don't want to do the package thing.  I bought a mocap system myself because I didn't want to rely solely on the packages. I wanted to offer custom Mocap for the community here at Renderosity and other Poser places.

I'm doing something like 10 dollars a custom motion.  :)

Hope you all enjoy the funny little dance.  Remember this is raw, unedited and untouched data.

As  MissNancy said a website is probably a good idea, but you could perhaps (voice slightly muffled by tongue in cheek) periodically give away a freebie, that way you could mention your service in the freebie and animation forums here and at Daz and of course in readme files included with the files.
