Subject: Export/Import Missing words after installing Poser Service Release 3

I have had nothing but trouble with SR 3.  I have had Open GL issues that updating the video card driver hasn't completely resolved.  I uninstalled Poser 7 and reinstalled, but it didn't seem to do any good.  Recently I have discovered the the import/export menu is missing words.  Has anyone else had this problem?  I rarely import and I'm not sure reinstalling the application is worth the effort if it won't fix the problem.  Any advice?

 Granted I am on a Mac, but I have been importing .obj's in P7 SR3 and or PPro with no issues.  When you say missing words, I assume you mean the menu options are not showing up from the -drop-pull down?

I managed to fix the issue by reinstalling the updater with my virus scan turn off.  Then when I syncronized my back up runtime library with Poser it happened again.  Apparently it was some issue with some file in the old, pre-updated runtime library that caused the problem because when I installed the patch yet again the problem dissappeared.  I just copied back my python folder and it seems to be fixed now.

I am, however, still having lag in the materials room with OpenGl previews enabled, it works better if I switch to ScreeD before entering the room.

Not an issue on Mac's yet, but I see it repeated over an over regarding windows. Make sure your video card drivers are current.
