I have used multi threading to render in the past, but it's not working now. Does anyone know why it would stop working?

There is an option in the render room - under the render tab to turn it on and off.
Maybe it turned off for some unknown reason.
Other than that, I have no clue.

Do you checked if isnt a problem with your processor or something related to windows? How many cores do you have?

I restarted my computer and it came back

One of the cores might have locked up. I have seen it happen every now and then. If it does it again, open ask manager and see if the graph for performance shows activity for both or just one.
