Actually I am in a modelling phase (apart the animation in work and other stuff) and I am working on an industrial set for D|S, something dark and rotten, maybe the place of some long forgotten crime, the hide out of some dark creature or just the working enviroment of V3/4, M3 or others.

Here is a first IR render:

GI render

There are still some details missing, like crap on the floor, cables, switches ...

And here is a first textured render:

Colour render

The textures are still raw, I will work them when the modelling is finished.

And here are some updates, I added "junk", worked the maps and finally did a first D|S render:

GI render
GI render 2
Textured render
Colour render 2
D|S render
D|S render

The blue barrels to the right will be crushed and damaged a bit.
Thanks for your input YourSunshineGirl! ^_^

Work In Progress! ^_^

Just another way to say: This thingy/image/model/... is not finished, still working on it.

Which can be also a way to say: Oh come on, give me some applause and thumbs up to make me carry on. (Which is a nice thing for all kind of creative work, be it finished or not.) ;-D

Thank you Peter , this clears out a big part of my confusion , by being a Dutch speaking Belgian living in Ireland I do not know every English word :)))))))))))

Big hugs ,

Glad I could add some new words to your collection, Wendy! I know this problem, I am a german living in France, so you never stop learning new words.

Ok, I damaged the blue barrels, changed the specular settings and added a scratch map.

I will import them into D|S tomorrow, I am a bit tired and caught a cold

Everything works in D|S, now I have to setup the lights.

Here is a render with D|S default lights, half a dozen distantlights for the ambient lightning, one "lamp"- and one "fire"-pointlight and a spotlight behing the window.

And here is a render with only two Uberpointlights, one basic for the lamp and a "soft torch" for the fire.

Well Peter , in those 3 years i'm in Ireland i thought my irishman a bit Dutch and he's managing pretty good ( sometimes he still pronounces it with a Brittish accent even :laugh  ) But he is very motivated to even take courses in Dutch once in Belgium , and he even allready found a course online to help himself with the pronounces . I allready give him a 7 / 10 :)
So yes I do believe he can learn it , all he wants is to leave this f****** stupid country , move to my one and lose all accents he ever had . He even talks about renewing his vows to me over in Belgium :)))))))

@Magick_Lady:

Wow, that sounds good! Looks like you have found your Prince Charming, congrats! (Still trying to imagine how irish-coloured dutch may sound)

@cedarwolf:

When it's finished, for the moment I try to find a way to open/close the door without using Poser, which I don't own. The problem is, in my modeling prog I place the origin at the right edge to rotate it around, which works fine but everytime I import it into D|S, the origin is moved to D|Ss xyz 0. :(

Peter , its a bit colored with a Brittish sound but we work on it and the Belgian dialects have strange sounds too , so he is doing great , in time nobody can tell he's foreign in Belgium , all thanks to his motivations . As for being my prince charming , I surely hope he will keep up with it and then he convinced me of hid true love for me LOL

p.s : I've had a look at your site being a member too now , and i really do benefit those tutorials , tumbs up and keep up the good work :))))

Looking better all the time! I'll keep an eye on the thread.  I've got some ideas already for using the room.
