I hope ya'll will bear with me on this, because I know this question must have been answered a thousand times before.  I'm trying to render the Sapphire Fox hair in Poser6 and no matter what texture I put on it, it comes out white in the render.  I checked the material room and even though the hair texture is there in the drop down box, it's showing white as the material.  I can change it manually, but it reverts back to the white.  How do I make the texture stay put?  Thanks for any help.

My idea of rebooting is kicking somebody in the butt twice!

How are you applying the textures?  According to the features list @ DAZ, the file also has MAT Poses for loading the textures and transparency maps.  Check the Pose section in your library palette for those files.

I just use the Mat poses as I always do.  I seem to have this problem with various hair props.  I know it's something to do with Poser6, I just don't know what.

Maybe try to apply the mat pose while you are on the material room and not from the pose room

I've don't remember having a problem with Saphire Fox Hair in poser 6. But I'm using Poser 7 and I it's been a while since I used it in Poser 6.

It comes as a prop and conforming versions do you have the problem with both or just one?
Were the MAT files the ones that came with SFH or are they third party?

Is texture strength set to 1 on the image node?

No it's not. Just tried it out in Poser 6 and was coming back to mention it. noted that the texture strength was 0. but if you use the mat poses included they change the strength to 1
