I am trying a different approach to my artwork and been trying to paint hair and clothing seems the only clothing tutorials i find around the net are having to do with dresses

Anything around that shows you how to paint boots, jeans, leather trenchcoats and other leather based clothing, tiaras and assortments of armor and what not instead of the same dress tutorial everyone seems to do?

Also I have been having a hard time with hair...on a couple of occassions a friend has recommended I use the hair brush (actual brushes with the hair strain for the brush) I find it hard to manipulate those brushes to make them look good without having to have 20000 layers for all the rotating I have to do with those brushes maybe i am doing it wrong has anyone done a tutorial on using those types of brushes for hair?

I am more intersted in painting other types of apparel besides the chest piece. I also came across a poser I was trying to figure out where they got the pants in it I have it displayed above I did not create this so I take no credit for it
