The skirt rig is substantially more complex and powerful than the previous version, and can do some cool stuph as shown.
Happy skirt swirling!

Oh wow thanks Pjz! I loved the first set, and I don't ususally use V4 that much. Thanks, this is awesome.

Man... this is magnificent... just rendering it now.. and it's incredible for free. Thanks megaloads!

Be aware if you don't like the gloves, you can hide them; also the front part of the skirt if you wanted to mix this up with a different sort of bottoms. MAT poses are included for both of these options. Enjoy :)

Oops, once again I'm quite interested to hear and see some feedback on how well or how poorly people like this dress and the associated utility poses. Thanks!

Thank you pjz99! This is a fantastic outfit, and you are very generous to make it available to us all for free. I'm looking forward to trying it out. :)

It's pretty nice, although I think you can be a little more aggressive posing the skirt ;) There's obviously some wind going on with the hair, take the skirt the same direction!

yeah i was gonna... i got the thing to really dance around.. but then that was a totally different scene... it really does move though!

this is cool, it's a great addition to give the impression of movement!

I forgot to mention, the zip file folder structure dumps the main character file into the characters folder, not its own sub directory. No real biggie, just thought I'd mention it.

Pjz99 honestly I thought the first dress was awesome. It was really a storefront quality item. Not that I'm encouraging you not to give us nice freebies like this or anything. But It was a great dress. And now you give us this one too. All I can honestly say is the proverbial oft misused "wow". LOL This is a great dress for V4. And it has all kinds of Possibilities available to the user if they are willing to play with the material settings too. If there was a rating system for freestuff I'd give this five stars hands down. I do have one question, any chance of getting some boot's/shoes of some sort to go with it?
Anyways as I said in my previous post, I don't normally do too many renders using V4 either. That will change now that I have this dress though.
Infact when I can get some time I was thinking of asking your permission to uvmapp it, create a template and try to make some textures for it.
Thanks very much for this dress and the previous one. They both are great items and I for one appreciate that they were free very much.

I highly recommend Idler168. Or possibly Idler168.
You don't need to UVmap it, it's already UVmapped. Look in the RuntimeTexturesFlesh ForgeV4Dark Sorceress directory for the template. IMO the existing UVmap is not bad. Of course for personal use, you're welcome to redo the UVmap until the cows come home.

Oops, yeah I see that in the prep area, that was sloppy. I will correct the zip and re-upload that. Thanks.

^^ done.
Daidalos posted Mon, 27 October 2008 at 9:25 PM
Pjz sorry I didn't realize there was already a texture template in there. Thanks for including that. I Know most folks don't, but doing so sure saves me the hassle of creating one. :)

Let me know what you think of the UVmap :)
Daidalos posted Tue, 28 October 2008 at 12:15 AM
Pjz,
I already played around with it a bit. Tonight, so far it's worked fine for me. Working really well for me infact. I especially liked how you colored it. Once I get the texture done, I started to do earlier(can't work on it right now). I'll send it to you if you'd like.
Thanks again for a great dress for V4. It really is an awesome dress model for that figure.
I recommend everyone who has V4 get it.

It looks decent in Vue too (with my apologies for incompetent postwork).
Thanks for a great dress. Now I have to figure out how to insert it into many more renders :)

Pjz I didn't realize it before, but I just noticed yesterday that you created the Hex dress for V4 too.
Thanks for two great free dress's now! I can't wait to see the next set you make.

Glad people are having good times with this :) I'm interested in hearing feedback about how well the rig works, how easy the UVmap is to work with, and how this compares vs comparable things you've paid money for. This item is "done" and I don't think I'd go back and change any of it now, but it'd be good to know for future projects, free or otherwise.
Daidalos posted Wed, 05 November 2008 at 3:53 AM
The Uv map is great, except I wish it was laid out just a bit differently but I can deal with it. Hey it's free after all!
The dress in my opinion is actually better than some others I've bought in the past.
