Attached Link: Best Dang Games

A friend of mine recently finished an upgrade to his board game site and he asked me to help spread the word. His site stocks the "best dang games" to be found, most of which are "Euro-games".

Go check out his games or just browse for old-time favorites such as Monopoly and Risk. And, yes, please bug him with questions about what Euro-games are and how to play them. 😉

Ask him how to get a free "microbe" plushie with certain games. Or ask him what a "microbe" plushie even is!

I love board games! My favourites:

Scrabble
Monopoly
Careers
Backgammon

I was big into backgammon at one time. I calculated the percentage of dice rolls and memorized them wink

Yes I do. I love playing Risk or Monopoly. We played monopoly last Sundat afternoon with the whole family (me & wife & kids 7, 9, 13 years old). The game lasted over 4 hours and no one can ever convince me ever again that kids do have a short attention span, even my youngest played for 2 hours in a row, then took a little break (and let his 9 year old sister take charge of his affairs) and after 15 minutes or so he joined in again.

I'm now considering buying Carcassonne or Catan, not sure yet.

With euro games I think he means that the games have been developed in Europe, a lot of them in Germany. In my country, the Netherlands, they're published by 999 games and you can buy them in lots of stores. That may be the case in more countries, that they're being published by a specific national board games publisher.

I've also been toying for a while with creating my own board game. Got the concept ready, now the rest. I'm going to use Poser in the proces of creation.

EDIT: http://www.mayfairgames.com/ publishes them in various english speaking countries.

Due to the childish TOS changes, I'm not allowed to link to my other products outside of Rendo anymore :(

Food for thought.....
