Some time ago Bagginsbill showed us a shader trick that allows you to have one texture or color on the front of polygons, and a different one on the back...

So Robes and capes etc look like they have lining inside.

I lost the shader and the thread that showed a how-to.  Does anyone remember the trick or the thread or knows how to do it?

Halp :)

And quinlor found that you could exploit the difference between Diffuse node calculations with Normals_Forward enabled versus disabled.

Renderosity forum reply notifications are wonky. If I read a follow-up in a thread, but I don't myself reply, then notifications no longer happen AT ALL on that thread. So if I seem to be ignoring a question, that's why. (Updated September 23, 2019)
