Have you tried any of these yet? The first one I've used several times, as it's very basic and is easy to work with.3D Commune has several free rooms when you search on "room."
Also, there's always www.whatever3d.com. Just do a search there and see what pops up, both paid and free.

brynna, thanks for the links.
But I didn't find what I need for this project.
Did find a product that went to my wishlist though. :)
EnglishBob, The first is an open doorway, no door, the other two had doors with4-panels on the top section.
No need to open.
The window will be shown only as a background and slightly side angle.
I only need the prop for an image. :)
nyguy, I'll check that link to see if there's anything I may need for future projects, thanks.

Here's a set of wall sections that I made for my own use some time ago, hastily packaged up. There's one with a door opening, one with a window opening, and a plain one. The door and window morph for position and size. Arrange these to form the room you envisage, and that will give me a starting point. Then send me the final scene file (don't include any figures) and I'll make it into a unified prop and add doors etc. I can't envisage exactly what you want for the panelled doors, so another rough sketch would be ideal there. ;)You may find that these walls will be enough to do what you want, although if you morph the door or window openings too far the UV mapping will look very strange - they'd be best remapped.
Edited to spell the URL to my own site correctly (duh!) - and to add that if anyone else wants to use these, then by all means go ahead. They're free as in freedom. Sell 'em on TurboSquid for $100 if you like, nobody will be impressed. :)

Currently it is for Poser 6 prop format with poser Materials applied, no uv map all surfaces are planar mapped.
If you wish this prop to see if it works for you just Message me here on Renderosity and if you supply your email i will send it to you.
3 walls , floor, 3 doors, 1 window. If you want changes let me know.

EnglishBob, I've downloaded the props and have them positioned and sized where they are needed.
I'm going to make a Photoshop image with them to show the type doors and trim.
Do you want the image and the scene file emailed to you?
RonGc, that is very close to what I need.
The window is too wide and the first door was just an open doorway.
The image will be posted here later tonight or in the morning to show what I mean.
And gee, thanks so much for all the help...my eyes are misty with tears of joy. :)

Englishbob, I will get the scene file to you tomorrow.
I am so tired tonight, no sleep last night due to acid reflux all night...ugh!
Gonna get some sleep now, I hope.

@ EnglishBob, just out of curiosity what application for modeling are you using. I can't place the interface, it seems familiar though.

Interface looks like Anim8or from what I can see. :)

Yes, it's Anim8or. I've got used to it now, and although I have other (theoretically better) modellers available, I usually open up Anim8or without thinking, especially if I want to get something done quickly. All done. :-) If you need any modifications, or find any problems, please let me know.
I put three doors on for the benfit of anyone else who may want to use it. They're parented props, so you can delete any that you don't need - and they open...

Wow!
Thank you so much.
I'll do a texture and make it a freebie too. :)
EDIted to add:
The first door of the room led to a small hall, the second door was for the pantry and the third door led to the upstairs.
Just in case anyone was curious about the arrangement. :D

I was curious, actually... I'd guessed that the middle door couldn't lead anywhere significant, unless the place had really strange architecture. :) I had thought about extending the prop for more general release, to include a floor, and some rudimentary walls behind the doors so there would be something to see when they were open. I'd decided on a small pantry-style room for the middle door, so it's good to know that would be in keeping with the real thing.
Faery_Light posted Sat, 08 November 2008 at 8:07 PM
I used to stare at it and wonder why they designed it that way.
But I think the stairs were there originally and the pantry was an add-on later as was the bathroom behind the pantry.
I might attempt to do a floor plan later to show what I mean.
As soon as I UV map the window frame, I'll finish the texture.
Just a little tweaking on the wall panel to make it look right.

I managed to uv map everything but the windowframe. For some reason it won't map individually and it won't take a texture or color. I'm working around it at present.

That poor window frame. :-) It got missed out of the first version altogether, then it seemed to have escaped being mapped, it was in the wrong place, and it had overlapping polygons. No wonder it didn't work.Sorry about that. I've uploaded a new version - the same link will work, but I've repeated it here.

Glad to hear you're ok - I was concerned when you dropped off the face of Renderosity. :)
It's coming along well, nice work on the texturing and modelling. I see you've improved the window frame and moved the doors around too. Make the cabinet drawers and doors as separate props. That's how I did the room's doors, it's easier than making a rigged figure out of it. Let us know when you get to the UV mapping stage - drop in to the UVMapper forum if you like.
