Hi all,

I'm doing some research for a book and am looking for any commercial uses of Vue other than those mentioned on Vue's website. Looking for things like commercials, games, television programs.

Thanks,

Ami

Did you check the users projects section at e-on? They show games cinematics (pendulum studios), Tv broadcasts ( US  weather channel, and BBC), and a car commercial if I remember right, amongst other uses.

 Hi Ami,

I just finished a large poster-sized calendar using Vue to create all the mountains and terrains for DigiTokyo 2009 that will be sent to all of the largest technology companies in Tokyo Japan.  If you're interested, let me know and I'll contact the client about release (its going to print very soon).  Although everything is created in Vue, it uses lots of post work as well.

btw, I couldn't have done this without your tutorials.

Cheers,

Greg

Thanks Greg,

I'll add that to the list, and our Geekatplay quotes if that is okay.

Very glad to have helped you :)

Hey AmiC. My name is Michael Tschimperle and I am the senior illustrator at Valusoft, a division of THQ. I am constantly using Vue (6 infinite) in my work for our packaging. If you have any questions or needs let me know.

best regards.

Hi Ami,

Sure, that would be fine.

I did an underwater scene in Vue that was used by an Australian Scrapbooking company for scrapbooking paper.  Send me a pm and I'll send you the link and tell you which pack uses it if you like.  The owner's husband just got vue thanks to my prodding him about it and has decided he loves it, too =D
