In the manual it mentions rendering presets that come with the program, and a preset came with a lighting package I purchased here, but when I click the button in Render Settings to load a preset, nothing appears.
In the Prefs' file I can see a Preset File, and in it is the preset that came with the package I purchased here, but nothing else...no sign of presets that came with Poser7.
Where are the presets that the manual mentions, and why does not at least the single preset in the folder show up when I hit the button? Any ideas? Thanks!

In Poser 7 and Pro at least, the render presets are stored in your user profile, so any supplied preset files have to be put there, not in the Runtime.
In Mac OS X they are here:-
(for example).
Not sure about Windows/Vista, or why the 'supplied' presets aren't there. I didn't get any with Poser 7 or Poser Pro.

IsaoShi, I tried moving the file to the "Library" as yours is, but still not luck. I did get an interesting developenemt though, Now when I hit the preset button it comes up "Draft" and "Production"

Umm.. I'm not sure what you mean, shorterbus. Are you on Mac OS X, or Windows? I ask, because the "Library" file I was referring to is in a Mac OS X user profile... it doesn't exist under that name in Windows.
But it seems that you do now have those two presets available... so what do you mean when you say "not luck"? Do those two presets not work?
