Is there anyway to change James as your default character when you first open Poser I know you can in Daz is this acheivable in Poser Pro or Poser 7. Does anyone use James? LOL

Yes there is. I can't remember exactly what it is off the top of my head, but after some fighting with poser, I've managed to have no default figure.
WARK!
Thus Spoketh Winterclaw: a blog about a Winterclaw who speaks from time to time.
(using Poser Pro 2014 SR3, on 64 bit Win 7, poser units are inches.)

Sure , start poser and set up the scene the way you want it , then in preferences change use factory settings to user settings (not sure of exact wording) , then exit poser.
It should now start up with your settings.
