I want to create a video containing both images created with DAZ and video taped images from real items. It seems likely that this could be accomplished using Adobe’s After Effects software, but I am not sure.
Has anyone had any experience in this type of project?
Thank you for your assistance.

I've done it with Final Cut on a Mac, and with Windows movie maker. Either of those will allow you to put videos together. Now if you're talking about a green-screen effect where you want to put something like real video on a television prop in a Daz scene. I've only done that with Final Cut. If you google, you'll find tutorials.

What you want to do is called "compositing" and AE is a basic compositor. Depending on your needs it should work out just fine. If you plan to do this regularly, I would look into "Combustion" or other more powerful compositing software. Final Cut is pretty good as well.

Well, I also have an interest in AE and the possibilities to put DS generated imagery and/or footage into it. Haven't had the chance to try it out yet ( AE is ordered and on it's way ), but I'd say it's doable within reason.
But why not check out some free tutorials and awsome work of real AE pros and make up your own mind from there .. ?
