15:00hrs today, notice dogs have escaped out into the street, check back gate - it's wide open, with the handle ripped off and the security bolt bent over......
Conclusion - some little bastard has tried to break in......hope he comes back, next time I'll hold him down while he really gets to know my dogs.....Suki was bred to look like a wolf (she only looks small here because she's furthest from the camera. She's about 120 pounds of rock-hard muscle) and Pagan is MY protector.

hehe good job! dogs scared off the burglar :D
i dont think it'll be neccesary to have the dogs bite him/her.. to be scared off sounds good enough to me.

great story. give them dogs a treat or something.
in fact, this doesn't have to be 'Very OT' at all. We always need audio tracks, sound bits for video clips. Got some recordings of your dogs in Wave or Aiff format? (background noise of burglar screaming in pain can be filtered out ;-) jk

Beautiful dogs.

LOL, I saw the beautiful woods behind the dogs and assumed it was on the outskirts of civilization.

Civilisation is North Yorkshire, other parts are on the edge (West is over the edge ;) ).

Didn't it revert back to the less glamorous Humberside?
Paul Francis posted Tue, 02 December 2008 at 6:09 AM
Re-reverted; I'm from Newcastle anyway. The "East Riding of Yorkshire" take my council tax, so I'll take their name......:)
"Glamourous" and "Humberside" don't often get used together in the same sentence!

Good dogs!
I once came home to find a screen half pried off a back window. The only dog I had at the time was a beagle, so the guy must have been dog-dumb. The best performance was the stumping politician who asked if I was going to sic my black&tan on him (as he hastily retreated). Another dog-clueless person.
Is Pagan German Shepherd?

She is; Suki is a Northern Inuit.

Both are just beautiful! Any particular things to keep in mind with a Shepherd? Since losing my Coonhound (old age), I've been really drawn to that breed.
Paul Francis posted Mon, 08 December 2008 at 1:56 PM
Dunno - before we got these two, we had two other German Shepherds, who were both ex-British police dogs....perfectly trained. Pagan is the total opposite - full of mad energy to the point of being unstable; the one thing they have all had in common is immediate and deep loyalty and extreme intelligence.

Intelligent is good: one of us needs to be. ;) Watching Victoria Stilwell, this time 'round I might even be in charge. Pagan just has one of those faces you have to love... unless you're breaking down gates.

She`s a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel. called Scully, Ang. Daft as a bag of rats.

LOL, I believe the second time I visited Europe, I ran into someone with one of these when I was visiting the Roslyn Chapel. At least that is what my mother had said. We ran into a woman walking one in the parking lot area. I don't care how daft an animal is, if it is friendly, then it is worthy.
Scully looks adorable!
