Ok, on request I wrote a tutorial how I made the snow caps in my latest image - snowy river.

Unfortunately it is  2.7 MB pdf and can not be attached here to the thread. Send me a pm with your email address and i will send it to you.

We are working on a html version of it (of course) but this will take some days probably. Until then, for those that want to know quickly, the pdf is the only way...

Nope, I even have written the tutorial with Ve 6 Infinite screenshots. So it works in 6 Infinite too.

Thank you so much 😄

I just quickly did this in vue 6 and I used a flattened sphere instead of a cube

Great Gill. I think cubes and spheres have their strengths. In your case, spheres are indeed better, for roofs I would say cubes/bricks are because they give a smoother border. Especially when you play a bit with the rotation slider in the ecosystem settings to reduce rotation variations.

However, good to see first results so quickly. The tutorial seems not too bad.

Mark was so kind to offer hosting the pdf AND to make the html version out of it. Thanks a lot Mark.

Here is the link to the tutorial. And don't forget to look around, it is an interesting site. [ snow_cap_tutorial
