Subject: Exporting hair to fit another model (sydney to V4)

this question was answered once before but I cant seem to find it. anyone know how to export Posers "Sydney" hair to fit Vicki correctly? now if you try it the hair will appear around the neck area and wont conform correcly. I know I did this and even retained the morphs. but for the life of me I cant remember. anyone?

use the X,Y,Z Tran and scale dials to move the hair to the right place then parent to V4s head. Save back to the library and you should be good to go

that doesnt work for 2 reasons. first, its not the proper hair for this model. vicki is taller so it conforms incorrectly. second, there are no trans dials for this hair =(

but it can be done. I've done it.

It does work because I have it in my library - I just moved and scaled it.  Parented (not conformed) and saved it

Look in the hair Body for the translation dials

Yup, don't conform the hair. Just parent and you'll be good to go :-)
