I'm just curious about Rendo's hardline policies these days... I have been a member here for years. I submitted my image for the holiday contest well before the deadline ended... I was notified 2 minutes before the deadline ended It was rejected because I forgot to say it was painted in Photoshop...

I am wondering why it is an admin couldn't have simply asked how it was done , and simply typed that info in the description, and accepted the submission... Why did it take a full hour to reject it, then bother notifying me to fix this after the deadline had ended. This was a simple fix that really wouldn't have taken much effort on the mods here to fix...

In years past it has always been the policy to extend the deadline, or make every effort to fix these little problems...  I'm just curious is there any good reason why Rendo has to be so rigid in their policies for an event that is suppose to be enjoyable for the community...

In case anyone is wondering this is why I rarely upload here anymore... There are a lot of professional artists and illustrators who have a lot to give to a community like this, but when the admins of the community become so power hungry and rigid then there's no real reason to participate...

I'm sure my opinion doesn't matter, but I wanted to put it out there anyway...
