M4 Base doesn't come 'equipped' you have to buy M4Complete or M4 Morphs ++ to get his bits!

Fer cryin' out loud!...His johnsonville braut should come with the base figure!
markschum posted Sat, 20 December 2008 at 10:16 PM
Theres a couple free sets of genitals at raunchyminds freestuff, or you can try to fit m3 set as a parented prop.

Bah! She should save her money and download Apollo. I heard he has the most realistic johnson anyways.

Or she could fork out the cash for Carrara 7 Pro and get V4 & M4 PLUS all their morphs and bits and bobs!
patorak posted Sat, 20 December 2008 at 10:33 PM
Since when does V4 have a beefy burrito.

The more I hear about the latest issues from DAZ, the more nauseated I get! If all else fails, there is ALWAYS my remapped P4DukeM3 with his 15 odd erection and scrotum morphs! ;=D

Over the years, it has become even MORE workable with various add-on erection and scrotum swing MT's that come packaged with various Schlabber sex poses. But to market a figure without any phallus at all, sounds like a digital version of the posted link.

I guess one culd say that Base M4 has been Bobbittized!
Maybe Bobbitized M4 is Daz's way of cuttin' corners.

Something was definitely cut, but I don't think it was corners! Poor Mike 4, his balls were blackballed!

Isn't 2008 almost over? Wonder what happened to apollo 2008?
Way too many people take way too many things way too seriously.

Hmmm...Well he's got a week and a half to make good. Personally, I've been waiting on him to release Apollo 08 so we can release this figure based on our mark 4 mesh.

Mainly because like a real one, you can't get rid of it. Want to do a skintight costume painted directly on the figure mesh? Can't show the crotch.
patorak posted Sun, 21 December 2008 at 2:13 PM
I'll keep that in mind while I work on this guy.
BTW Whatever you do...please, do not make this gamma ray physicist angry...

I still think that we should rise en masse against DAZ in protest for them not having freed the Willies!

There is a product for M3 at Daz (go figure) called BAM3 by Uzilite. Nice set of clothes but the undies have some morphs that, er, lets say, that show M3 is an "excitable boy" (Apologies to Warren Zevon). I have managed to transfer these morphs to different pants for a more realistic look under the right circumstance. The morphs will also transfer to M3 for the same situation if a "skin suit" is used but a normal M3 texture will look like he should have had a biopsy run on that bump a long time ago. If you texture M3 at the hips with "cloth" it adds a bit of possible realism with a few tweaks. Throw in a magnet at the right spot and any Super Hero in a "skin tight costume" will volunteer to rescue V3 from impending doom, perils of darkness, high gas prices, or cheap dates. Even tight spandex shouldn't show completly flat in the hip area but thats my opinion. A "Ken" doll doesn't cut it. Right Barbie??? Barbie??? I'm over here..........HD

Dear Phantom; if I apply your rigging to either Posette or Judy, how should I go about keeping their clothes conformable?

I have been toying with that and I cannot find any way to do it without also changing the clothing groups and bones. I suppose if WW had a plug in for it you could then convert clothing, otherwise it's not possible the bones and poly groups are just too different. Basically the clothing would have to be rerigged also.
Sorry I did not see your post sooner.

If I apply the rigging to the clothing the same way that I a[[;y it to the figure, will it be conformable? (Logic says yes, but logic doesn't always apply to Poser).
And just how much work is involved in applying the rigging to the base figure in the first place?
DPH
Diogenes posted Sun, 28 December 2008 at 11:06 PM
If you apply the rigging to the clothing it should be conformable. When applying the rigging to the figure you just have to regroup the figure and then adjust the JP's till they work for your figure. That particular rig uses a bikini style for Hip2 and a band around the upper hip- lower abdomen for the Hip group. The only part that is really touchy is the buttock and thigh, they must be aligned properly or they are unstable and spaz out. But basically you just use the joint editor in the pose room and move the centers around till the two joints work without spazzing out. The alingment and grouping should take into account both the bend rotation and the side to side so that between the two joints you get a good bend with the best deformation.

Judy has two hips, one default with genital geometry, and one alternate and neutered. What happens to all of the various MT's with this regrouping. Is there anyway to get the rigging to conform to the default grouping without rearranging polygon-group assignment?

Diogenes posted Sun, 28 December 2008 at 11:38 PM
No you must regroup it, but the Morphs can be transfered to the new grouping with Dimension 3D's Morphing clothes.
SeanMartin posted Mon, 29 December 2008 at 3:28 AM
Or, instead of treating them as conforming clothing, you just make everything dynamic.
