I'm wanting to save a prop texture to package into a file to upload.
Do I change in 'textfile' the same things as I do for clothing textures?
At the moment the sword isn't changing when I double click to change the texture, but the clothing side of it is working.
I'm working with Poser 6 and Photoshop CS2 on an Apple Mac.

I assume you are trying to apply the texture via a pz2. Here are some things you need to know about applying pz2 (pose) files to props. A pose file will only work when there is a figure in the scene. A number is appended to a prop when it is loaded in Poser, the first instance loaded will be "propName_1", the second instance "propName_2", etc. The name in the pz2 must match exactly the name of the prop, including its number. To apply a pose to a prop that is NOT parented to a figure you must use "actor propName_1" not "prop propName_1" in the pz2.

I believe you can use actor $CURRENT as well

Thank you both for you answers... as it turns out I was just having a 'blonde' moment.... LOL I found that I didn't have to have the 'character' loaded. After saving the texture in 'materials', then going back to 'props' and saving it there, it just loads by itself.
Hope you both have a great new year.
