Can Poser Pro handle an object that has a Polygon count of 200000?

Well Simon is 80,000 so try loading 3 figures and see how well your system holds up. Poser is not the best at high poly handeling but your own system will play a part too.
Hope this helps.

200,000 polys?! That seems excessive for any one model.

Thanks for the help. That object is a car; looks really great, but a bit pricey.
(But I still might get it)

Thanks, "Imckenzie"; if you see any of my images with a fancy sports car you'll know that you had a part in it...(all of you, thanks)

Go for it. I don't know about FireFly but I loaded the original yatch (which is actually 513,433 polys), 1 V4 & 1 V3 (scaled down to 6%), clothes, hair and textures - roughly 730,000 polygons - no problems. Then just to see what would happen I loaded two yatchs in a new scene. It took a few minutes to render but 1,026,000 polygons and change didn't faze the old lady. I suspect adding a full crew of bikini clad Vickies to both would break something badly though :-)
